Founded by Helen Georgio and Rachael Lewis, THIS IS ICON celebrates and collaborates fashion and music to produce world class events to raise much needed funds and awareness for charities.

Kicking off London Fashion Week in true style, our celebrity Gala and awards ceremony took place on the 17th February 2023 at the Connaught rooms Grand BallRoom

LONDON FASHION WEEK 

London Fashion Week showcases over 250 designers to a global audience of influential media and retailers, it is one of the ’Big Four’ fashion weeks, along with the New York, Milan and Paris.

London Fashion Week presents collections from over 250 designers to an international audience, through hosting catwalk shows, designer showrooms and static presentations.

THIS IS ICON - PREVIOUS EVENTS 

The event showcased the work of designer Malan Breton and emerging talent Nathan Palmer. Gaia, daughter of actors Emma Thompson and Greg Wise, modelled as actor boyfriend Basil Eidenbenz (Eskel in hit Netflix series Witcher) looked on. Event supported the vital work of prostate cancer charity Prost8.

Following the success of the last ICON gala the previous year, Helen Georgio, founder of Buzz Talent and This Is Icon Charity Gala London brought another triumphant event to London Fashion Week in support of prostate cancer charity, Prost8.

Taking place at the Connaught Rooms in the De Vere Grand Hotel, London on 18th September, showcased the SS23 couture collection of the renowned designer Malan Breton alongside up and coming designer Nathan Palmer’s popular Perverse Demand, an urban menswear brand.

Helen Georgio of Buzz Talent explained: “The point of ICON is to combine fashion and music with other art forms and leverage the spectacular talent we have on show to raise significant sums for charity. We were able to bring together people to celebrate fashion as well as our devoted monarch while supporting the charity Prost8.
